2) Introduction of an ordinance for repairs to cooling tower for Unit #3 at D.G. Hunter Generating Station. Bids to be opened 2/13.

3) Introduction of an ordinance for operating supplies for the Wastewater department. Bids to be opened 2/13.

4) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Alexandria Police department to receive money from the LA Commission on Law Enforcement through Red River Delta for equipment for Alexandria Regional Training Academy.

5) Introduction of an ordinance approving United Health Care renewal rates for January 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007. (PERSONNEL/INSURANCE 1/30 APPROVED)

6) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Ken Juneau for professional services.

7) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a two year agreement for Professional Services with ALTEC Environmental Consultants to provide environmental consulting services and technical support to the City.

8) RESOLUTION to request consideration for the Alexandria Louisiana Post Office to be designated a Regional Service Hub. (PERSONNEL 2/13)

9) RESOLUTION appointing Jack Hodges to serve a five year term on the Zoning Board of Adjustment and Appeals.

10) RESOLUTION appointing Ellis Saybe to serve a five year term on the Alexandria Zoning Commission.

11) RESOLUTION authorizing advertisement for bids for annual vehicle bid for use by various departments.

12) RESOLUTION authorizing advertisement for bids for Acadian Park drainage improvements.

G. ORDINANCES FOR FINAL ADOPTION

13) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for vehicle & equipment fuel.

14) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an Intergovernmental Agreement for Economic Development with the Greater Alexandria Economic Development Authority to promote and sponsor the 2007 “Que’in on the Red” barbeque festival to be held March 23-24, 2007.

15) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an Agreement for Professional Services with Malcolm Larvadain for legal services.
16) To consider final adoption of an ordinance renewing the Professional Services Agreement with Hershel Lonidier for his services as a Right-of-Way Agent for the City.

17) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the purchase of a parcel containing approximately 13.7 acres of property from Ballina Farms situated adjacent to Tennyson Oaks Subdivision in the City for the Bayou Robert @ Landmark drainage project along with four temporary construction servitudes.

18) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the acceptance of donation of a utility servitude located in tracts of land owned by Charles B. Fine and J.W. Slocum situated adjacent to Acadian Village and between Third Street and the Red River.

19) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing acceptance of a donation of two (2) utility servitudes from Recycling Services located in South Alexandria Addition.

20) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing acceptance of subdivision plat for The Lake District, Brevard Court commercial subdivision development for Lots 1-5.

21) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received for janitorial services for the cleaning of 35’ transit buses & passenger transit vans for the Bus department.

22) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received for janitorial services for the cleaning of the Main Street ATRANS Bus terminal for the Bus department.

23) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received for hot mix for a six month period for use by various city departments.
24) To consider final adoption of an ordinance amending 2006/2007 operating budget to receive funds from Union Tank for the Fire department.

25) To consider final adoption of an ordinance amending 2006/2007 operating budget to add a Secretary position in the Animal Shelter.

26) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Dana Pitcher Productions, Inc. for the promotion of a boxing tournament to be held in Alexandria on March 16, 2007. (DELAYED 1/30)

27) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing a special exception at 3726 S. MacArthur Drive for a Class “A” (high and low alcohol content) permit for use or consumption on the licensed premise for the operation of Half-Time Sports Bar-N-Grill. (PUBLIC WORKS/ZONING 2/13)

28) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the private sale of 7 acres to Petron, LLC pursuant to R.S. 33:4712 lying and situated in Rapides Parish and being more fully described as the northern most seven (7) acres of Tract “B” of the Alexandria Industrial Park.
