Established in 1928, Lea’s has been a traditional place to stop not only for Louisiana residents, but for visitors from around the world. Lea’s is a unique restaurant with its southern hospitality and beautiful flowers. Its colorful history is depicted in the numerous articles from newspapers and magazines framed on the walls. Lea’s bakes over 65,000 pies annually. All pies are hand-made daily with hand-rolled crusts by special bakers. The pie recipes are family secrets and the results are plump, juicy pies drizzled with butter or topped with fluffy meringue baked to a golden brown.
