GREAT AMERICAN CLEANUP
Volunteers across the country are rallying to improve their local parks, public spaces, sidewalks, and streets by participating in Keep America Beautiful’s Great American Cleanup, the nation’s largest annual community improvement program. The City of Alexandria and Keep Cenla Beautiful will kick off their activities with a clean-up on Saturday, March 29, 2008, 8 o’clock to noon at Alexandria Chamber of Commerce - 1118 Third StreetA second cleanup has been scheduled for May 3, 2008, 8 o’clock to noon at Alexandria City Hall.
