This is the committee meetings schedule that will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 in the City Council Chambers. All Council committee meetings shall begin at 3:00p.m. unless otherwise designated.
Public Saftey/Transportation Committee Meeting at 3:00 p.m.
1. To hear from the Administration concerning the time line on #2 Fire Station.
Community Development Committee meeting at 3:15 p.m.
1. To hear an update from the Administration on naming of Deerfield Walking Trail as requested by the Horseshoe Gardens, Deerfield and Quailridge Neighborhood Alliance Group. (Letter submitted to the Administration on February 15, 2011).
Personnel/Insurance Committee Meeting at 3:30 p.m. or immediately following
1. To hear from Wright and Percy Insurance Company on health insurance rates for City of Alexandria employees.
Utility Committee Meeting at 4:00 p.m. or immediately following
1. To hear from Mike Marcotte on how utility rates are calculated.
Legal and Personnel Committee Meeting at 4:30 p.m. or immediately following
1. To discuss HLS-RS-204 bill and any other bills pertaining to the Alexandria Civil Service System.
