Alexandria, Louisiana – Remember: this is a very significant weather event. When the volume of rain falls faster on hard surfaces that can be diverted away from or off of that surface, then water will collect and even rise until the rate of the rain drops. Places that have flooded in past significant rain events will see similar issues. We are monitoring and ensuring all pumps are in order.
