Dear Mayor: 

        These are the committee meetings schedule for Tuesday, May 15, 2012 that will be held in the City Council Chambers.  All Council committee meetings will begin at 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise designated.

Public Safety, Works and Transportation Committee Meeting at 4:30 p.m.

1. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with the City of Baton Rouge/Parish of East Baton Rouge for the purchase of 311 Call Center/Citizen Record Management Software.

1. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received from Beauford Enterprises dba Yankee Clipper for landscape maintenance services for Assorted Public Facilities.

1. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received from Green’s Park Service for landscape maintenance services for Compton Park.

1. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received from Jeff’s Lawn & Landscaping for landscape maintenance services for Deerfield Park.

1. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received from Jeff’s Lawn & Landscaping for landscape maintenance services for Martin Park.

1. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received from Beauford Enterprises dba Yankee Clipper for landscape maintenance services for I-49 Greenbelt maintenance services.

1. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received from Jeff’s Lawn & Landscaping for landscape maintenance services for Rapides Trail.

1. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received from Green’s Park Service for landscape maintenance services for Sandy Bayou Park.

1. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received from Alpine Lawn & Landscape for landscape maintenance services for 6^th & Johnston parking lot.

Please have your staff note the change in format for the committee meetings done in compliance with R. S. 42.7.  The Council has directed that the City Clerk may advise the public scheduling regarding committee meetings.  It is always that the intention of the council to convene committee meetings at the conclusion of the prior committee meeting unless the Chairman of the meeting may indicate otherwise for the convenience of the public.  Have appropriate members from your Administration present for discussion.
