This is an addendum to the meetings scheduled to be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in the City Council Chambers. All meetings shall begin at 3:30 p.m. unless otherwise designated.
Community Affairs, Services and Events Committee Meeting at 3:30 p.m.
- To hear an update report from Charbonnet and Associates Planners and Consultants, Inc., concerning the services related to the City’s AFEAT Program.
Utility Committee Meeting at 4:00 p.m. or immediately following
- To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to execute a Base Contract for sale and purchase of natural gas and other related or subordinate documents with BP Energy Company.
- To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to execute the First Amendment to the Agreement(s) for Firm Section 311 (a) (2) Transportation of Natural Gas in the State of Louisiana with Crosstex LIG.
Finance and Legal Affairs Committee Meeting at 4:30 p.m. or immediately following
- To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received from NexAir LLC for bulk hydrogen for the Electric Production department.
- To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the quote received from SoloScapes LLC for the remainder of the contract period for landscape maintenance services for Compton Park
- To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the quote received from Kelley’s Louisiana Landscaping, Inc. for the remainder of the contract period for landscape maintenance services for Sandy Bayou Park.
- To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for Alexander Fulton Hotel and Convention Center re-roofing project.
Please have your staff note the change in format for the committee meetings done in the compliance with R. S. 42.7. The Council has directed that the City Clerk may advise the public scheduling regarding committee meetings. It is always that the intention of the council to convene committee meetings at the conclusion of the prior committee meeting unless the chairman of the meeting may indicate otherwise for the convenience of the public. Have appropriate members from your Administration present for discussion.
