         These are the meetings scheduled to be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 in the City Council Chambers.  All meetings shall begin at 3:30 P.M. unless otherwise designated.

A & E Selection Committee Meeting at 3:30 P.M.

Committee Members: Rubin, Green, Larvadain

1. The design and construction observation: GIS Support Building.

Finance and Legal Affairs Committee at 3:45 P. M. or immediately following

1. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Professional Service Agreement with Wilbert Sanders d/b/a Kingdom Security.  (PULLED BY ADMINISTRATION)
2. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing issuance of (i) up to Eleven Million Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($11,250,000.00) of Utilities Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 2013A and (ii) up to Fourteen Million Seven Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($14,750,000) of Taxable Utilities Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 2013B, prescribing the form, terms and conditions of said Bonds, designating the date, denomination and place of payment of said Bonds; providing for the payment thereof in principal and interest; confirming the sale and delivery of the Bonds to the Underwriter; and providing for other matters in connection therewith.  (ADMINISTRATION RECOMMEND TWO-WEEK DELAY)
3. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing acquisition of Parcel #804 and Parcel #805 required for the Masonic Drive Phase II project.

Public Safety, Works, and Transportation Committee at 4:00 P.M. or immediately following

1. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for Program “A” roadside open ditch closures – 2013 construction contracts.
2. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for Program “B” roadside open ditch closures – 2013 construction contracts.
3. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for Program “C” roadside open ditch closures – 2013 construction contracts.
4. To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the revocation of a 12’ wide drainage & utility servitude located in Lots 3, 5 & 7 of Block 1 of Camellia Place Subdivision.

Utility Committee Meeting at 4:15 P. M. or immediately following

1. To consider final adoption of an ordinance amending 2013-2014 capital budget for power generation additions.

Community Affairs, Services and Events Committee Meeting at 4:30 P.M. or immediately following

1.  To hear a detailed report from the Administration concerning the success of Alexandria River Fete.

Please have your staff note the change in format for the committee meetings done in the compliance with R. S. 42.7.  The scheduling regarding  committee meetings it is always that the intention of the Council to convene committee meetings at the conclusion of the prior committee meeting unless the chairman of the meeting may indicate otherwise for the convenience of the public.  Have appropriate members from your Administration present for discussion.
