To hear a presentation from Charlie Braud from the Attorney General’s Office on Open Meetings Law.
1) Approval of minutes taken from regular meeting held 2/12.
2) Introduction of an ordinance for pre-engineering metal building metal building shed for maintenance equipment storage at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Bids to be opened 2/26.
3) Introduction of an ordinance for operating supplies for the Wastewater department. Bids to be opened 2/26.
4) Introduction of an ordinance for electric substation maintenance painting for the Electric Distribution department. Bids to be opened 2/26.
5) Introduction of an ordinance for additional covered parking additions for the Electric Distribution department. Bids to be opened 2/26.
6) Introduction of an ordinance for three phase padmount transformers for inventory stock. Bids to be opened 2/26.
7) Introduction of an ordinance for operating supplies for the Electric Distribution department. Bids to be opened 2/26.
8) Introduction of an ordinance for construction & maintenance materials for various using departments. Bids to be opened 2/26.

13) RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor to submit to HUD an amendment to the HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME) and the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and to execute any and all documents necessary for the release of HUD’S Letter of Credit.
G. ORDINANCES FOR FINAL ADOPTION

14) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for clamps & couplings for a six month period.
15) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for variable frequency drive for the Wastewater department.
16) To consider final adoption of an ordinance amending 2007/2008 Capital Budget for the main distribution panel replacement at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
17) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the Alexandria Police Union. (DELAYED 2/12)
LEGAL COMMITTEE
18) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with KJA Communications Group for the maintenance and production of programming for the City’s Government Access Channel and development of the City’s web site. 19) To consider final adoption of an ordinance amending Chapter 4 of the Alexandria City Code pertaining to the Alcoholic Beverage Control laws. (LEGAL 1/29:DELAY, 2/12:DELAY & 2/26)
FINANCE COMMITTEE
20) To consider final adoption of an ordinance providing for the levy within the City of Alexandria, State of Louisiana, of a one percent (1%) sales and use tax upon the sale at retail, the use, the lease or rental, the consumption, and the storage for use or consumption, of tangible personal property and upon the sale of services in said City and for the assessment, collection, payment thereof, and the dedication of the proceeds of said Tax and the purpose for which the proceeds of the Tax may be expended, said Tax having been authorized at a special election held in the City on July 21, 2007.
