H. CONSENT CALENDAR
1) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for scada system additions and upgrade for the Gas Department. Bids to be opened 4/7.
2) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for trimming and removal of trees and limbs around high voltage lines. Bids to be opened 4/7.
3) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for operating chemicals for the Wastewater Department. Bids to be opened 4/7.
4) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for operating supplies for the Electric Distribution Department. Bids to be opened 4/7.
5) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for janitorial chemicals for a twelve month period. Bids to be opened 4/7.
6) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for Links on the Bayou Golf Course Bank Stabilization. Bids to be opened 4/7.
7) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a cooperative endeavor agreement with the Ninth Judicial District Drug Court.
8) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to renew the existing contract for janitorial services for the Utility Customer Service building.
9) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an Entity/State Agreement with Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development for Jackson Street (LA1208-3) at Horseshoe roundabout.
10) Introduction of an ordinance regarding gaming, bingo and video bingo and the City of Alexandria’s bingo halls and expansion of gaming, charitable or for profit; limiting the expansion of bingo halls and gaming, charitable or for profit within the City of Alexandria; prohibiting new commercial lessors of bingo halls and gaming places; providing certain strictures with regard to expansion activities of existing bingo halls and gaming tenants; to provide for hearings and amendments to licenses for existing license holders and otherwise to provide with respect thereto; to set limitations on locations; and other matters with respect thereto.
- I. ORDINANCES FOR FINAL ADOPTION
SUBJECT TO PUBLIC HEARING
11) To consider final adoption of an ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 193-2014; to enact an ordinance to further authorize an intergovernmental agreement with the Rapides Parish Police Jury to provide authority for a partition of jointly held property adjacent to the Rapides Parish Coliseum; to authorize an act of sale, exchange or transfer of properties jointly owned by the City and the Police Jury on Coliseum Boulevard and to enable the City to acquire full ownership of certain tracts and servitudes of certain properties; to authorize the City to allow the Rapides Parish Police Jury to acquire full ownership of land for parking necessary for the Rapides Parish Coliseum; to provide for dedication of a right of access, utility servitudes and other components necessary for the City of Alexandria; to declare that the value to be received shall be equivalent values and that the price the City may receive for a parcel of land shall be $1,100,000 and such other good and valuable consideration including the improvements and renovations to the Rapides Parish Coliseum is consideration, in part, for the partition and otherwise providing with respect thereto.
12) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for electric meters and accessories for use by the Electric Distribution Department for a twelve month period.
13) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for fire hydrants and related accessories.
14) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for operating supplies for the Wastewater Department for a twelve month period.
15) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for janitorial supplies for a twelve month period.
16) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for cast/ductile iron and related accessories for a twelve month period.

17) To hold a public hearing on the Mayor’s proposed 2015-2016 Operating and Capital Budgets.

18) To consider adoption of a resolution authorizing the City of Alexandria to co-sponsor “Jazz on the River” along with the Arna Bontemps African American Museum providing in kind services.
