CONSENT CALENDAR
1) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for an Insulated 40 foot telescopic articulated aerial lift. (Bids to be opened August 11).
2) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for Wooddale Outfall and Railroad Avenue drainage improvements, Phase 3. (Bids to be opened August 11).
3) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to sign/submit an agreement to execute any and all documents necessary for release of HUD’s letter of credit for CDBG and HOME program funds.
4) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a cooperative endeavor agreement with the City of Marksville for the disposition of certain surplus movables.
5) Introduction of an ordinance amending and re-enacting Section 26-8 (a) and (b) of the Code of Ordinances.
6) Introduction of an ordinance amending the 2015-2016 capital budget for Fire Station relocation.
7) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the acquisition of parcel #802 required for the North Mall Drive Phase II Street Improvement project.
8) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the rezoning of 5114 Ransbottom Drive, described as Lot 10 Lakeside Subdivision, Alexandria, Rapides Parish, Louisiana, from “SF-2” Single Family (Low Density) District to “MF-1” Multi-family (Low Density) District to allow for the construction of a Duplex.
9) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the rezoning of 1220 Rapides Avenue described as Lots 5 and 6 Welch Addition Subdivision, Alexandria, Rapides Parish, Louisiana, from “B-3” General Business District to “C-1” Limited Commercial District to allow for Vehicle Sales.
10) RESOLUTION accepting the Louisiana Compliance Questionnaire for the audit year ending April 30, 2015 to include the City and the Fire Pension.
11) RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Corey Lair to the Alexandria Regional Port Authority.
F. ORDINANCES FOR FINAL ADOPTION

12) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for the construction of Johnny Downs Sports Complex Registration building.
13) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for three phase padmount transformers for the Electric Distribution Department.
14) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for single phase padmount transformers for the Electric Distribution Department.
15) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for an all-terrain, hills mower for the Wastewater Department.
16) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for floating aerator assemblies for the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
17) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for a filtered roll-off container for grit removal for the Wastewater Department.
18) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for a minimum of one (1) outdoor vacuum litter collection vehicle for the Street Department.
19) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for liquid chlorine one (1) ton cylinders for the Water and Wastewater Departments.
20) To consider final adoption of an ordinance amending the 2015-2016 operating budget deleting one (1) Electric Line Worker Senior position and adding one (1) Crew Supervisor Electric Distribution position.
21) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Police and Fire Departments to recover costs from Sister Public Safety Agencies at the actual expenditure incurred by the City.
22) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to renew the existing annual contract requirements for Water, Wastewater and Gas for a twelve month period.
23) To consider final adoption of an ordinance accepting the subdivision plat for Turner Square Lots 1-13 a subdivision of land being part of lot 7 of Neal Plantation situated in sections 3 & 4, Township 4 North, Range 1 East, City of Alexandria, Rapides Parish, Louisiana.
24) To consider final adoption of an ordinance amending the 2015/2016 operating budget in the Electric Production Department by adding funds to the Maintenance of Plant Account in order to fund emergency repairs on D. G. Hunter Unit #3.
25) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the rezoning of part of Lot 4 and Lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 of the proposed Commercial Drive Subdivision, located on Versailles Blvd., Alexandria, Louisiana from “SF-3” Single Family (High Density) District to “C-2” General Commercial District.
26) Adopt the 2015 millage rate (s) levied upon the dollar of the assessed value of all property subject to ad valorem taxation in the City of Alexandria.
