AMoA: George Rodrigue-The River is the Road
Culminating its traveling schedule in Alexandria, this exhibit is the first of its kind and traces 45 years of the river in George Rodrigue's paintings, exploring the unique ways Rodrigue used the river as a reference to his Cajun heritage, and ultimately as a metaphor for the journey of life.

AMoA: Solomon Northup Statue Ribbon Cutting and Reception
The Alexandria Museum of Art will be a temporary home for a sculpture of Northup, which will be touring around the state prior to being installed in its permanent home in Marksville, LA in 2026.
