AMoA: George Rodrigue-The River is the Road
Culminating its traveling schedule in Alexandria, this exhibit is the first of its kind and traces 45 years of the river in George Rodrigue's paintings, exploring the unique ways Rodrigue used the river as a reference to his Cajun heritage, and ultimately as a metaphor for the journey of life.

National Crime Victims Rights Week
We will walk to the Family Justice center located at 220 Hospital Blvd., Pineville and we will have guest speakers, refreshments, stop the violence trailer for the children, and do a balloon release and memory of our loved ones

Join Assistant Professor of Art at Northwestern State University, Edgar Cano, for an acrylic painting workshop concentrating on Rodrigue's Louisiana landscapes and the culture of South Louisiana. Registration online at https://themuseum.org
AMoA: Muse Teen Workshop
Teens will create works or art by painting on locally, humanely sourced animal bones. This event is free to teens between the ages of 13 and 19. The youngest participants must have turned 13 within a month of this event to participate.
AMoA: Knitting Circle
"Anyone can come and knit in the galleries. Open to all ages. Just getting started? AMoA has limited materials to get you started." FREE and open to the public.
Spirits Crawish Bash
Join us for the biggest Crawfish Boil in Cenla on the lawn and patio of Spirits Food and Friends: Live Music with Alligator Blue & more, crawfish by HotHeads, and specialty brews by Huckleberry. Starts at 3pm, crawfish will be served starting at 4pm.
