Homeless Awareness and Advocacy Week

Alexandria/Pineville, time: varies.  Member organizations of the Central Louisiana Homeless Coalition will host events to raise awareness and advocacy on behalf of the homeless populations they serve.  Monday:  Hope House of Central Louisiana-women and children,  Tuesday:  Eckerd-homeless and at-risk youth, Wednesday:  Volunteers of America-unsheltered/street homeless, Thursday:  Alexandria VA Medical Center-veterans and Friday:  Homeless Coalition-community involvement to end homelessness.  Cost:  admission free.  Call Kendra Gauthier:  443-0500.
