Glass Fusing with Doug Stannard

Time: 10a.m.-Noon. 

Create your own glass art by stacking or layering thin sheets of glass in different colors to create patterns or simple images in this glass fusing workshop led by glass artist Doug Stannard.  Participants will each design and form a glass lightcatcher and a jewelry piece during the class, which will then be fired in a kiln for participants to pick up later.  Explore the glass sculptures and use of light in the current exhibition, “Stephen Knapp:  New Light” as inspiration for your art.
