Letters from Vietnam
Local resident Jim Leggett was a First Lieutenant in the US Army when he went to Vietnam in 1968 and his father told him to write his mother each week. Those letters are now part of a collection that will ultimately reside at LSUA.
Come here Jim read from the letters and share stories on Sunday, March 11 at 2:00pm in the Richard Gwartney Theatre inside Mulder Hall at LSUA.
Leggett currently appears on KSYL talk radio after near 40 years in Louisiana print journalism. Matthew Dunn, host of the KSYL show with Jim, will be host for Letters from Vietnam.
The event is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact Nicole Holcombe at 318-623-0844.
