Cavnaugh Lecture Series
The second Cavanaugh Lecture series event will feature Rafael Romero whose lecture, “Nothing is Normal in Nicaragua,” will address the current political situation in his native country.
Romero is an Instructor of Business at LSUA and will speak on Tuesday, October 16 at the Alexandria Museum of Art from 5:30-7:00.
Romero attended law school in Nicaragua, worked for the Trade Department on WTO issues, and then served on the Presidential Commission for Competitiveness. He is the winner of a Fullbright scholarship and has earned Master’s degrees in Latin American Studies and International Law from Vanderbilt University. He resides in Alexandria with his two sons.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
