7th Annual Gleaux for the Girls
The 7th Annual Gleaux for the Girls, also known as the “Breast Race in Cenla,” is set for Saturday, Oct. 12.
This one-mile glow-in-the-dark fun run in the Lakes District is dedicated to raising breast cancer awareness and education in Central Louisiana. Participants will help generate funds that will stay within our community, directly benefiting the CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Cancer Center and Breast Health Center through the CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Foundation.
Participants can purchase raffle tickets for $15 each for a chance to win a pink 2015 Toyota Tacoma, courtesy of Walker Toyota, or a pink ribbon-wrapped Alpha Club Car Precedent golf cart presented by Cenla Moto-Sport.

Registration fees are $30 for regular runners and $15 for survivors or children. Sponsorship opportunities are also available and may be submitted through Sept. 27 at https://www.christuscabrinifoundation.org/gleaux.

Gleaux for the Girls is more than just a race; it’s a movement. It’s the largest fun run in Central Louisiana, welcoming over 1,500 participants and raising over $100,000 annually. The event brings together the community to not only raise awareness about breast cancer, but also to contribute to the enhancement of local treatment capabilities, rehabilitation programs, educational services, support services and community outreach initiatives. All funds raised stay local, ensuring that our community directly benefits from the enhancements and services provided by the CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Cancer Center and Breast Health Center.
