Fire Responses - Magnolia Street

Alexandria Fire Department responded to three abandoned building fires on Magnolia Street on September 28, 2023. 

At approximately 4:56 AM, the Alexandria Fire Department was dispatched to 12th Street and Magnolia Street regarding an abandoned building fire. Firefighters arrived within two minutes; however, upon arrival, they discovered three buildings on fire. The glow of the fire could be seen by responders from Lee and Huffman Streets. Firefighters brought all three buildings under control within an hour. Due to the severe fire condition, a second alarm was struck. Six engine companies, two aerial companies, three medical units, two district chief units, and two investigators were dispatched to this incident. The fire is under investigation at this time.
