MLK Parade Cancelled

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Alexandria MLK parade has been cancelled due to weather.

The City-wide Interdenominational Revival Committee, organizers of the MLK Day parade, have cancelled the annual parade due to the forecast of extreme cold and the possibility of wintry precipitation. The event is not anticipated to be rescheduled. The Committee will proceed with the annual Prayer Breakfast at 6:30 AM and the Noon Day Service, both of which will be held at the Alexandria Convention Hall.
