APD ANNOUNCES TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF I-49 THROUGH ALEXANDRIA DUE TO CRASH

Northbound lanes of I-49 through Alexandria are open.

The Alexandria Police Department announces that I-49 northbound and southbound through Alexandria is closed due to an overturned tractor-trailer. 

Motorist are advised to use an alternate route.
