2) Introduction of an ordinance for Culpepper drainage – Llewellyn to Sterkx Road. Bids to be opened 4/21.

3) Introduction of an ordinance for the demolition and abatement of asbestos containing materials at the building located at 621 Johnston Street. Bids to be opened 4/21.

4) Introduction of an ordinance for clamps & couplings for a six month period. Bids to be opened 4/21.

5) Introduction of an ordinance for janitorial chemicals for a six month period. Bids to be opened 4/21.

6) Introduction of an ordinance for plastic refuse bags. Bids to be opened 4/21.

10) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received for procell batteries for a twelve month period.

11) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received for marking paint for a twelve month period.

12) Introduction of an ordinance setting fees for collection and disposal of animals.

13) Introduction of an ordinance rezoning 3632 Sugarhouse Road as requested by Carlos D. Wilson from “SF-2/MHO” single family moderate density district with a mobile home overlay district to “C-1” Limited Commercial district for the purpose of opening a laundromat and laundry service business. (ZONING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED)

14) RESOLUTION supporting the Downtown Hotel Initiative and in support of expenditures of S.P.A.R.C. and other funds in support of downtown hotels and other downtown properties located in S.P.A.R.C. CRA-1.

15) RESOLUTION seeking authorization to apply for traffic enforcement funds from the LA Highway Safety Commission to address traffic safety problems.

16) RESOLUTION authorizing the City to state their intention to maintain the City’s Recycling Program.

17) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for Good Earth ditch maintenance project.

18) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for McAdams ditch maintenance project.

19) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for remote telemetry units for scada systems for the Wastewater department.

20) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for cast/ductile iron & related accessories for a six month period.

21) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for ready mix concrete for a six month period.

22) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for operating supplies for the Wastewater department.

23) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for water meters for a six month period.

24) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received for electric transmission & distribution emergency services for the Electric Distribution department.

25) To consider final adoption of an ordinance adopting a Fair Housing Ordinance in accordance with the Federal Fair Housing Act and the Louisiana Equal Housing Opportunity Act.

26) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Alexandria Police department to receive money for a terrorism prevention grant to be used for planning and/or improved explosive device mitigation funding.

27) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an Interagency Agreement with Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office to provide for the equitable division of proceeds from the State of Louisiana vs. Love forfeiture.

28) To consider final adoption of an ordinance amending 2008/2009 capital budget for sidewalk and intersection improvements near Rugg Elementary School.

29) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to renew the existing contract with CBS Cleaning Services for janitorial services for the cleaning of 35’ transit buses and passenger transit vans for the Bus department.

30) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received for janitorial services for the cleaning of the Main Street ATRANS bus terminal.

31) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to renew the existing contract with Transformation Janitorial Service for janitorial services for the Utility Billing & Collection Offices for a twelve month period.

32) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract for professional services with URS Corporation for Brownsfields hazardous materials assessment.

33) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing a professional services agreement with KamTech Systems for computer programming. (PUBLIC WORKS 4/21)

34) To consider final adoption of an ordinance to appropriate funds and authorize expenditures of S.P.A.R.C. funding to conduct feasibility, appraisal, market, and capacity studies relative to the Downtown Hotel Initiative and to award a contract following responses to Request for Proposals and otherwise providing with respect thereto.
