These are the meetings scheduled to be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 in the City Council Chambers. All meetings shall begin at 3:45 P.M. unless otherwise designated.
Economic, Workforce and Planning Development Committee at 3:45 P.M.
- To hear an update of interest with Michael Jenkins on progress of Hotel Bentley.
- To hear an update from the Administration concerning the Summer Program.
Finance and Legal Affairs Committee at 4:15 P.M. or immediately following
- To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to renew the Cooperative Endeavor Agreement with Friends of Bringhurst Golf Course, Inc. to allow for the promotion and operational support of Bringhurst Golf Course.
- To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with Kingdom Security for security services at the Utility Customer Service building.
Property & Zoning Committee at 4:30 P.M. or immediately following
- To consider final adoption of an ordinance denying the rezoning of property located at 2006 Airbase Road from “SF-2/MHO, single family moderate density with a mobile home overlay district to “C-1” Limited commercial district to allow for a private commercial car wash.
Public Safety, Works and Transportation Committee at 4:45 P.M. or immediately following
- To hear a report from the Administration concerning the physical improvements of the Broadway Resource Center.
Please have your staff note the change in format for the committee meetings done in the compliance with R. S. 42.7. The scheduling regarding committee meetings it is always that the intention of the Council to convene committee meetings at the conclusion of the prior committee meeting unless the chairman of the meeting may indicate otherwise for the convenience of the public. Have appropriate members from your Administration present for discussion.
