3) Introduction of an ordinance for annual uniform bid for public safety for use by the Fire and Police departments. Bids to be opened 9/9.

4) Introduction of an ordinance for water meters for a six month period. Bids to be opened 9/9.

5) Introduction of an ordinance amending 2008/2009 operating budget for storm preparedness.

6) RESOLUTION authorizing advertisement for bids for one 39’ mobile fire safety house for the Alexandria Fire department.

7) RESOLUTION authorizing advertisement for bids for one telescopic aerial lift device with service body for use by the Electric Distribution department.

8) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for Versailles Boulevard extension, Phase 2, Package 3.

9) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for LA Highway 28 West street lighting additions, Phase II.

10) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for pre-wire relay panels and associated equipment for the Electric Distribution department.

11) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for sulfur dioxide for the Wastewater department.

12) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for three phase padmount transformers.

13) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for two grit screw conveyors with parallel plate separators for the Wastewater department.

14) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for one rollback car carrier body for the Motor Pool department.

18) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract of lease with Grove Stafford for the rental of office space located at 628 Murray Street.

19) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a contract with Christopher W. Williams to continue work for a historical preservation survey.

20) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement with Jobs for America’s Graduates, (JAG) to provide assistance to participants seeking transportation.

21) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement for Professional Services with Towers Perrin-Tillinghast to perform an actuarial valuation of the City’s estimated losses.

22) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing revocation of a 20’ wide drainage and utility servitude located adjacent to Tennyson Oaks Subdivision in Section 5 and 8.

23) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an existing contract with Bridgestone Firestone North America Tire for the transit tire lease for ATRANS department.

24) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received for petroleum products for use by various using department.
25) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Professional Services contract with the lowest proposal for asbestos abatement for the Bolton Avenue Community Center.

PUBLIC WORKS/ZONING COMMITTEE

26) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor on behalf of the City of Alexandria to enter into a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement with Enterprise Place and to authorize a “Home” affordable rental housing program regulatory agreement related to a HUD grant award recipient and for the City to accept a note and mortgage to secure performance related thereto. LEGAL COMMITTEE

27) To consider final adoption of an ordinance providing for matters related to cable television or video services in the City of Alexandria; to provide guidelines and related matters for such services; to set permit and other requirements for use of municipal property related to such services; to set fees for certain permits and uses of City property. (LEGAL 8/16:DELAY & 9/9)
