CONSENT CALENDAR
1) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for brass fittings and miscellaneous items for the water department. (Bids to be opened 10/20).
2) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for treated wood poles. (Bids to be opened 10/20).
3) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for annual turn-out gear for the Fire Department. (Bids to be opened 10/20).
4) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for electric utility right-of-way clearing and re-clearing for the Electric Distribution Department. (Bids to be opened 10/20).
5) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for an integrated breathing air cylinder recharging system and two ASME storage cylinders for the Fire Department. (Bids to be opened 10/20).
6) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to renew the existing Geographic Information Systems Professional Services Consulting agreement with Brockwell IT Consulting.
7) Introduction of an ordinance amending the 2015-2016 Capital Budget in the Wastewater Department by adding funds for the Samtown Lift Station and Force Main Project.
8) Introduction of an ordinance amending the 2015-2016 Operating Budget in the Water Production Department and Wastewater Treatment Department by reallocating certain positions
9) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the rezoning of property at 1427 Ransbottom Drive described as Lot 7 Square 3 Ransbottom re-subdivision of Lakeside Subdivision, Alexandria, Louisiana, from “C-2” General Commercial District to “SF-2” Single Family (Moderate Density) District to allow for an existing residential structure.
10) Introduction of an ordinance authorizing the rezoning of property at 1211 Rapides Avenue from “SF-2” Single Family (Moderate Density) District to “B-3” General Business District to allow for the construction of a Welding Training School.
11) RESOLUTION authorizing advertisement for bids for petroleum products for use by various departments.
12) RESOLUTION authorizing advertisement for bids for plastic refuse bags for use by various departments.
13) RESOLUTION authorizing advertisement for bids for wastewater system maintenance painting, sewer clarifier tanks and citywide plumbing stations with associated work – Phase I.
14) RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Charles S. Weems to the England Authority.
15) RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Marion French to the Alexandria Civil Service Commission.
16) RESOLUTION confirming the appointment of Damon Bernard to the Alexandria Historic Preservation Commission.

17)To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for striping and signage for public streets and other public properties 2015-2016.
18) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for a rear loading refuse truck 25 cubic yard for the Sanitation Department.
19) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for a dump trash trailer, 18 foot Tandem Axle, Heavy Duty for the Sanitation Department.
20) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the low bid submitted for Fire Station No. 2.
21) To consider final adoption of an ordinance declaring certain items of furniture, fixtures, equipment and vehicles as surplus no longer needed or used by City departments.
22) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received for debris removal reduction and disposal.
23) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received for emergency debris removal monitoring.
24) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a cooperative endeavor agreement with the Food Bank of Central Louisiana.
25) To consider final adoption of an ordinance revoking 10’ wide by 343’ portion of an existing 10’ wide utility servitude located in Lot 9 of Yorktown Medical and Business Park Phase II.
26) To consider final adoption of an ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept the lowest quote received for Hydrogen for the Electric Production Department.
G. ORDINANCE FOR INTRODUCTION
27) Introduction of an ordinance providing for the issuance and sale of sales tax refunding bonds, series 2015, of the city of Alexandria, State of Louisiana; prescribing the form, fixing the details and providing for the rights of the owners thereof; providing for the payment of such bonds and the application of the proceeds thereof to the refunding of certain bonds of said city; awarding said bonds to the underwriter thereof and providing for other matters in connection therewith.
H. RESOLUTION
28) To consider adoption of a resolution designating October 24, 2015 as Fall Festival to include Susan G. Komen, Merry Market, and the Van Gogh Gala and to declare the availability of all public and private parking as negotiated by the City to be designated for the benefit of the Festival.
