Road Closures Announced

I-49 through Alexandria as well as the Gillis Long Bridge on Jackson Street will be closed to traffic at 11 a.m. Also at 11 a.m., the Purple Heart Bridge Pineville Expressway and the Curtis-Coleman Bridge by Buhlow Lake will be reduced to one lane each way. Residents are urged to avoid travel until weather conditions improve.
