After School
The City of Alexandria is proud to partner with the Rapides Parish School System to achieve academic success thru commitment, enrichment and dedication. The focus is to build families upon a fundamental and solid foundation for academic excellence.
Our After School Program is built upon the same foundation value as Rapides Parish Schools curriculum, where we encourage each child to explore, learn and grow. Children participating in these programs learn to build confidence and academic strength within themselves while making memories that will last a lifetime.
We encourage our parents to become a part of their child’s success by presenting an interest in their student’s academics and to empower their performance. Studies show that students do far better when the home is structured to work around education.
The program will be offered from 3:30-6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday starting Sept. 20, 2021 and will be offered for students in grades 1-8 at the following locations:
