City to Observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Alexandria, La., (Jan. 14, 2021) —City of Alexandria offices including Customer Service, City Hall and other departments will be closed Monday, January 18, 2021, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

ATRANS bus service will be open Monday, Jan. 18, during normal operating hours.

The Jan. 18-22 sanitation schedule will be as follows:
Monday, Jan. 18 - no pick up
Tuesday, Jan. 19 - Monday trash pick up
Wednesday, Jan. 20 - Tuesday trash pick up
Thursday, Jan. 21 - regular pick up
Friday, Jan. 22 - regular pick up
