Culpepper Drive Fire

The Alexandria Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 2500 block of Culpepper Drive.  

At approximately 1:23 PM, the Alexandria Fire Department and Rapides Fire District #2 were dispatched to 2504 Culpepper Drive in response to a structure fire. The first unit arrived on the scene within four minutes of the initial alarm, and the fire was brought under control within fourteen minutes. Two adults were injured and transported to a local hospital for treatment. 

AFD dispatched three engine companies, an aerial company, a medical unit, one district chief’s unit, and a fire investigator to the scene. Additionally, Rapides Parish Fire District #2 dispatched two engine companies and a chief’s unit. The fire is under investigation.
