Garnett Street Fire
The Alexandria Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 3200 block of Garnett Street.
At approximately 4:39 AM, the Alexandria Fire Department was dispatched to 3202 Garnett Street in response to a structure fire. The first unit arrived on the scene within four minutes of the initial alarm. AFD dispatched three engine companies, a ladder company, a medical unit, one district chief's unit, and a fire investigator to the scene.
The fire was determined to be the result of an unattended candle. The fire displaced two people and three dogs.
