Opening reception and member preview: June 3, 6-8p.m. This photography exhibition features stunning landscapes by Avoyelles parish artist Jan Beauboeuf along the Northup Trail tracing the path of kidnapped free man of color, Solomon Northup, who lived as a slave in Central Louisiana before his rescue and return to Sarasota, New York. This exhibition will feature 15 finalists chosen from over 600 entries by Louisiana high schools’ juniors and seniors in the George Rodrigue Foundation Art Contest.
