Impressions of the Southland incorporates landscapes and cityscapes painted by Ellsworth and William Woodward which depict their view of the south during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The Woodward brothers were influential in the H. Sophie Newcomb College, instructing and inspiring young artists for years.
