January 2-3:  AMoA Holiday Art Camp, Alexandria Museum of Art, 9a.m.-12p.m.  Children ages 6-12 will journey through art around the world to see how different cultures celebrate the arrival of the New Year.  During this two day camp, children will create art projects such as Chinese parade dragons and other fun objects inspired by the New Year’s celebrations from around the world.  Cost:  AMoA members’ free, non-members $25 per child.  Call Cindy Blair:  443-3458.
