A-Town Jazz
Once again, the Hursts have graciously agreed to host the Arts Council of Central Louisiana’s event, A-Town Jazz, in their New York-style loft home at the corner of 16th Avenue and Washington Street, on December 2, 2011.
The building was constructed in the late 1930’s and originally housed H.H. McCann Hardware. It features wooden floors, exposed brick, iron beams and huge iron-framed windows and includes 5,700 square feet of heated space within a 14,000 (total square feet) frame.
Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to indulge in real Jazz music, inside a real New York-styled loft home, at the next A-Town Jazz on December 2, 2011.
Tickets are $25 and will be available at the door or in advance by calling the Arts Council at 318.443.4718. Admission covers entertainment, as well as light hors d’oeuvres. Wine, beer, and soft drinks will be available to purchase from the cash bar. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with entertainment beginning at 7 p.m. and ending at 9 p.m.
