Music will be inspired by the locales and times that will be featured in the concert. Sibelius - Finlanda, Barber - Knoxville: Summer 1915 with soprano Molly Fillmore, Smetana - The Moldau, and Rimsky Korsakov - Capriccio Espanol will all be in the itinerary.
Deidre McCalla will present a concert of her socially relevant contemporary folk music. McCalla was awarded the 2023 National Women's Music Festival Jan Schliessman Award for Outstanding Contributions to Women's Music and the 19th Annual International Acoustic Music Award for Best Folk/Roots/Americana Song.
