Abendmusik Alexandria: An Evening of Romantic Song

The Hearn Stage at the Kress Theatre, 6p.m. Sponsored by the Arts Council of Central Louisiana. Soprano D’nissa Hester and pianist Lane Dunn present an array of love songs, offering perspectives by both male and female composers. Their program features music by several of the most admired composers of art song, including Franz Schubert, Robert Schumann, his wife Clara Schumann, and Gabriel Faure.
