Cost: Advance tickets $30 for adults, $10 children ages 10 and younger. VIP tables of 8 are $500. (Cash bar. No trays or coolers).

Easter Drive-thru presented by the City of Alexandria- Community Services Division & partnering organizations. This event is free for kids ages 4-12 for a drive-thru event if 8,000 eggs filled with candy and toys. Kids must be present in vehicle.

MLK Tribute 2020

The City of Alexandria presents the MLK Day Tribute, a celebration of the birth and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Rummage up your favorite ugly sweater and join us for a 5K with a Christmas twist. It's a 5K full of fun and cheer that is held in conjunction with the award-winning AlexWinterFête holiday celebration in downtown Alexandria. The race will start at 8 a.m. in front of Alexandria City Hall.

AlexWinterFête begins its final day at Noon in downtown Alexandria with ice skating and the Alexandria Christmas Parade, which will roll through downtown Alexandria starting at 2 p.m. For more information go online to 

AlexWinterFête resumes at 10 a.m. in downtown Alexandria with ice skating, Santa Claus, approximately 200 arts and crafts and food vendors, Indie Village, live musical performances and tons of family-friendly activities. Saturday highlights include a Gumbo Cook-Off, Caroling Karaoke, a cookie eating contest, the Alexandria Museum of Art's Luminary Procession at 6 p.m. and a fabulous fireworks display over the Red River at 10 p.m.

AlexWinterFête resumes at 4 p.m. in downtown Alexandria with ice skating, Santa Claus, approximately 200 arts and crafts and food vendors, live musical performances and tons of family-friendly  activities. At 8:30 p.m. the AlexWinterFête All Star Jam will take the stage for a live musical performance.

AlexWinterFête kicks off at 5 p.m. with ice skating and the traditional Holiday Magic celebration in downtown Alexandria. Come see the lighting of the City Christmas Tree and welcome Santa Claus as he arrives. Also watch special holiday performances from area dance and theater groups. At 6:30 p.m.
