Alexandria, La. – (March 18, 2022) – To improve customer service and optimize routes, the Sanitation Department will be shifting some existing trash collection routes from their current Tuesday/Friday schedule to a Monday/Thursday collection schedule. Starting the week of April 4, trash collection will move to Monday/Thursday in the Martin Park, Common Point Plaza and Airview Terrace neighborhoods. Alexandria, La. (Feb. 22, 2022) — Ten years ago, Toby found a new home when Barry and Beverly Mitchell chose to adopt the Shih Tzu dog from the Alexandria Animal Shelter. In the near future, thanks to a generous donation by the Mitchell family, animal adoptions will take place at Toby’s House Pet Adoption Center.
