Tulane AveWater tests clean Alexandria, La. (April 30, 2024)—The boil advisory issued Saturday, April 27, 2024 for Tulane Ave area is now lifted. Repairs to a 12-inch water main made by COA personnel resulted in the need for a boil water advisory. The State of Louisiana has tested the water, and the results of the tests are clear, according to Superintendent of Water Operations, Barrett Dezendorf. BOIL ADVISORY ISSUED FOR Tulane Ave Alexandria, Louisiana— Repairs to a 12-inch water main on Tulane Ave has resulted in the need for a boil water advisory, according to Barrett Dezendorf, Superintendent Water Operations. Because water pressure was lost during the repair process, the water in the affected area may have been compromised. As a precaution, the Alexandria Water Department is issuing a boil advisory effective immediately. This boil advisory is to remain in effect until otherwise noted.
