Alexandria, La., (Aug. 28, 2019) — The City of Alexandria is working to repair a leak in the 42-inch pipe that supplies water from our Kisatchie well field, according to Utility Director Michael Marcotte. Repairs began early this morning and should be complete late on Thursday.
There will be no interruption in water service, however, there could be slight discoloration as the water flow is rerouted while repairs are made.
If a resident experiences discoloration in their water, they should report it on Alex Connects or call (318) 473-1264.
